Lawrence Gardner is a quarterback for Duke standing 6'0" and weighing 200 pounds. A native of Dallas, Texas, Gardner prepared at St. Mark's School of Texas, where he threw for 2,314 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior while adding 593 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. He earned his school's MVP award, the Tony Briggs Spirit Award, and All-Southwest Preparatory Conference recognition. Gardner also lettered three times in basketball. He did not see game action during the 2025 season and returns as a reserve quarterback in 2026.
