Ari Patu is a graduate transfer quarterback from North Alabama who previously spent three seasons at Stanford. The Folsom, California native appeared in 20 career games with four starts across his collegiate tenure, completing 113 of 212 passes (.533) for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns. He added 87 rushing attempts for 260 yards and three scores, totaling 1,578 yards of offense. Patu threw for a career-high 328 yards against Illinois State in 2024 and accounted for four total touchdowns in a game against the same opponent in 2025. As a true freshman at Stanford in 2021, he became the first to start at quarterback for the Cardinals since 1983, taking the field against Oregon State and throwing a touchdown pass.
