Dan Mahan is a quarterback for the Duke Blue Devils standing 6'2" and weighing 200 pounds. The Burlington, North Carolina native attended Walter M. Williams High School, where he lettered four seasons and earned three-time all-conference honors and 2023 conference player of the year. Over his prep career, Mahan threw for 2,528 yards and 33 touchdowns while rushing for 988 yards and nine scores. As a junior, his first full season at quarterback, he passed for 1,776 yards and 18 touchdowns. Mahan enrolled at Duke in January 2025 and did not see game action that season. He returns as a redshirt freshman in 2026.
