Michael Jurgens is a center for the Minnesota Vikings who was selected 230th overall in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The 6'4", 311-pound lineman from Wake Forest is Minnesota's fourth all-time selection from the school and the first Demon Deacon picked by the Vikings since 2010. At Wake Forest, Jurgens served as a three-time team captain (2021-23) and started all games during his final three seasons across a six-year career (2018-23) that included 61 total appearances. During his 2024 rookie season, he appeared in three games, making his NFL debut in Week 9 against Indianapolis on Sunday Night Football and seeing action on special teams in subsequent contests.
