Bio

Blake Brandel is a center for the Minnesota Vikings after being drafted by the team in the sixth round (203rd overall) in 2020 out of Oregon State. At 6'7" and 307 pounds, Brandel spent his rookie season on the practice squad before appearing in 13 games in 2021. He earned his first career start at left tackle on Thanksgiving against New England in 2022. In 2024, Brandel started all 17 games at left guard, playing every offensive snap while also contributing 20% of special teams snaps. He appeared in his second career postseason game in the Wild Card round against the L.A. Rams.
