Background & career
Michael Niese is a center from Temple standing 6'5" and weighing 295 pounds. He began his college career at Dayton (2016-19), appearing in all 11 games as a junior in 2019 and starting all 11 contests in 2018. After transferring to Temple, he played in two games in 2020 and eight games in 2021, earning All-Academic honors. Niese signed with Denver in 2022, then moved through Chicago and Tampa Bay before joining Detroit in 2023. He appeared in all 17 games for the Lions in 2024 and currently holds a one-year contract with the team.
