Penei Sewell is a left tackle for the Detroit Lions who was selected 7th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Oregon. At Oregon, he started 20 games at left tackle from 2018–2019, allowing only 1.0 sack across 1,376 career snaps. He won the Outland Trophy and was a unanimous All-American in 2019, finishing with a 95.5 grade. In his NFL career, Sewell has earned AP First-Team All-Pro honors in 2023 and 2024, and was selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls (2022–2024). In 2023, he posted a 92.8 overall grade while leading all tackles with a 95.1 run-blocking grade. He started all 17 games in 2024 as team captain with an 89.6 overall grade.
