Jack Fox is a punter for the Detroit Lions who was drafted by Kansas City and has seven seasons of NFL experience. At Rice, he appeared in 49 games with 212 punts for 9,207 yards and was named Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year in 2018. Fox set the NFL single-season record for net punting average at 46.2 in 2024 and became the first punter in history to average at least 51.0 gross and 46.0 net yards per punt in a season. He ranks first in career gross punting average (48.8) and second in net average (43.2) among qualified punters. Fox earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2024 and made the Pro Bowl in both 2020 and 2024.
