Talanoa Hufanga is a safety entering his sixth NFL season after spending four years with San Francisco (2021–24). The 2020 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year from USC was selected 180th overall in the 2021 draft and earned first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 2022, when he started all 17 games and recorded 95 tackles (65 solo), two sacks, four interceptions, and nine passes defensed. Over his tenure with the 49ers, he appeared in 49 regular-season games (37 starts) and recorded 214 tackles (147 solo), seven interceptions, and 14 passes defensed. In 2025, Hufanga joined Denver as an unrestricted free agent, recording 67 solo tackles, 39 tackle assists, 11 passes defensed, and one forced fumble.
