KaVontae Turpin is a 5'7", 153-pound slot receiver from Monroe, LA, who played college football at TCU. The Cowboys signed him in 2022 after he earned MVP honors in the USFL spring league as an offensive weapon and return specialist. In his NFL debut, Turpin averaged 24.2 yards on 21 kick returns and 10.4 yards-per-return on 29 punt returns, earning Pro Bowl selection as the first Dallas player ever chosen as a designated return specialist. Entering his eighth season, Turpin recorded 26 receptions for 396 yards and 2 receiving touchdowns in 2025, adding 17 carries for 89 rushing yards.
