Bio
Alex Wright is a 6'5", 270-pound left defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, selected 78th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft out of UAB. In his rookie season, he appeared in all 17 games and totaled 28 tackles, five passes defensed, and one forced fumble. Wright recorded 25 tackles and five sacks in 2023, including at least one sack in four consecutive games from Weeks 15–18. In 2024, he logged eight tackles and one sack across four games before suffering a triceps injury that ended his season. He currently holds a three-year contract with the Browns.
