Matthew Jung is a safety for the Wisconsin Badgers who transferred from Bethel University. The 6'3", 213-pound native of Neenah, Wisconsin, earned DIII First Team All-America honors and the Cliff Harris Award as Small College Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 after recording 109 tackles and nine interceptions for the Eagles. In his first season as a Badger in 2025, Jung appeared in all 12 games with eight starts, accumulating 50 tackles across 628 snaps—the third-most on Wisconsin's defense. He recorded a season-high 10 tackles against Oregon and posted nine tackles in each of his contests against Michigan and Iowa.
