Vincent Firenze is a 6'4", 221-pound weak-side linebacker from Syracuse, NY who transferred to Wake Forest for the 2025 season. A redshirt junior, Firenze played his first three seasons at Dayton, where he appeared in 10 games in 2025 and recorded 85 tackles including 50 solo, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sacks, seven passes defended, and three interceptions. He earned First Team All-PFL All-Conference and All-Academic honors and was named Phil Steele First Team All-PFL. Firenze also received recognition as FCS National Defensive Player of the Week on 10/27/25 and PFL Defensive Player of the Week on 10/26/25.
