Sawyer Seidl is a running back from Hugo, Minnesota who attended Hill-Murray High School, where he rushed for 5,069 yards and 65 touchdowns across four seasons. He transferred to Wake Forest for the 2025 season after three years at North Dakota. During his 2024 redshirt freshman campaign, Seidl appeared in all 14 games, rushing 91 times for 494 yards and three touchdowns while ranking sixth in the FCS in yards per kick return at 28.5. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, he accumulated 1,380 all-purpose yards including 897 rushing yards on 188 attempts with 13 touchdowns, adding 19 receptions for 177 yards and four receiving touchdowns.
