Jamar Searcy is a 5'8", 180-pound kick returner from Oakland, California who attended Pittsburg High School. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, Searcy led Pittsburg to the Division 1-AA State Finals as a senior, rushing for 1,470 yards and 18 touchdowns while averaging 105.0 yards per game. He also recorded 300 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns that season, plus 49 tackles and two interceptions on defense. In his freshman year at Wake Forest, Searcy appeared in four games. He carried the ball five times for 39 yards and returned two kickoffs for 33 yards, averaging 16.5 yards per return with a long of 17 yards.
