Deuce Lawrence is a true freshman running back at Wake Forest from Tallahassee, Florida. At Thomas County Central, Lawrence earned first-team all-region honors in 2024 after posting consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons. As a junior, he rushed for 1,468 yards and 18 touchdowns while averaging 9.1 yards per carry. During his senior year, Lawrence ran for 118.0 yards per game with 21 rushing touchdowns among 29 total touchdowns. He helped lead his team to a 13-0 record and 53.6 points per game in victories. Previously, Lawrence transferred from Lincoln High School in Florida, where he recorded 46 yards per game and six touchdowns as a sophomore.
