Ryan Henley is a kickoff returner for Wake Forest from Charlotte, North Carolina, where he attended Charlotte Christian School. A three-year letterman in high school, he compiled 263 carries for 2,073 yards and 24 rushing touchdowns while also recording 75 receptions for 831 yards with eight touchdowns. After redshirting in 2024, Henley appeared in two games during the 2025 season. He made his debut against Delaware on November 22 and returned a kickoff 26 yards in the bowl game versus Mississippi State on January 2.
