Rushaun Tongue is a safety for Wake Forest from Pasadena, MD, who attended Chesapeake High School. He saw action in five games during his 2023 freshman season, recording his first career tackle against Notre Dame and forcing one fumble. In 2024, Tongue appeared in all 12 games, posting 35 total tackles with 25 solo tackles, six tackles against UConn, one interception against Duke, and one forced fumble. During the 2025 season, he appeared in and started two games, recording four tackles and a pass breakup while playing 76 snaps in the win over Kennesaw State on August 29. Tongue currently returns as a redshirt junior.
