Kalil Townes is a running back from Atlanta, GA who attended The Lovett School, where he played three years of varsity football under head coach Mike Muschamp. During his senior season, he rushed for 1,665 yards across seven games with an average of 6.8 yards per carry and added 19 catches for 214 yards. In his junior year, he recorded 796 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns, while his sophomore campaign yielded 983 yards and eight touchdowns. Townes made his collegiate debut for Wake Forest against Kennesaw State on 8/29 and appeared in the bowl victory over Mississippi State on 1/2 before being redshirted as a freshman.
