Jake Ryan is a defensive back for Wake Forest standing 6'0" and weighing 199 pounds. The redshirt sophomore from Minden, Nebraska, attended Minden High School where he was a three-year letterman. In high school, Ryan recorded 42 tackles including 32 solo tackles, two tackles-for-loss, and one interception. He also played quarterback, completing 741 passing yards with six touchdown passes, and accumulated 977 rushing yards with 11 rushing touchdowns. Ryan did not see action during the 2024 or 2025 seasons with the Demon Deacons.
