Xay Davis is a running back for the Virginia Cavaliers. The Richmond, Virginia native attended The Collegiate School, where he was a consensus three-star recruit. As a senior, he appeared in seven games due to injury, rushing for 630 yards and 10 touchdowns. He earned First Team All-State honors as an athlete and Second Team All-State recognition at wide receiver in 2023. Davis also competed in track and field, winning 2024 Virginia Prep League Field Events MVP honors and earning Third Team All-State in long jump and triple jump. In 2025, he carried the ball 23 times for 86 yards and a 3.7 yards-per-carry average.
