Triston Ward is a 6'1" wide receiver from Griswold, Connecticut, who attended Deerfield Academy after playing the 2021 season at Christ School in Arden, North Carolina. As a junior at Deerfield, he recorded 51 catches for 1,167 yards and 16 touchdowns while earning all-league honors. Named team captain as a senior, Ward helped lead Deerfield to a 7-3 record and a Northeast Prep conference championship, though injury limited his final season. He was rated a three-star prospect by multiple outlets in the class of 2024. Ward did not appear in games during his 2024 freshman year at Virginia and is returning as a junior.
