Dallas Brannon is a true freshman weak-side linebacker for Virginia standing 6'2" and weighing 219 pounds. The Charlotte, North Carolina native attended Independence High School, where he was a three-time All-Conference selection and three-year captain. In his senior season, Brannon recorded 108 tackles (79 solo), 11 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, a blocked punt, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He earned the 2025 Southwestern 4A Defensive Player of the Year award and received the Luke Kuechly High School Defensive Player of the Year Award. Brannon was a three-star recruit and selected to the 2025 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
