Kemari Copeland is a 6'2", 290-pound defensive tackle for Virginia Tech who transferred in from Iowa Western C.C. At Floyd E. Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, he earned All-Beach District and Beach District Defensive Player of the Year honors as a senior. After stops at Army West Point and Iowa Western, where he recorded 38 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 13 games during the 2023 season, Copeland joined the Hokies in 2025. He started all 12 games, accumulating 48 tackles with 4.5 sacks and 8.0 tackles for loss while adding one interception. He was named Third Team All-ACC and ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week following a performance against Cal on October 24, in which he posted three sacks.
