Eric Mensah is a defensive tackle for Virginia Tech standing 6'2" and weighing 322 pounds. The Stafford, Virginia native attended Mountain View High School, where he recorded eight sacks and three forced fumbles as a junior. He earned Commonwealth District Defensive Player of the Year and regional defensive honors as a senior, ranking among the top defensive prospects in Virginia. Mensah played three games for Ohio State in 2024 before redshirting. In 2025, he appeared in one game against Grambling with two tackles before dealing with injuries.
