Gerard Johnson III is a 6'4", 293-pound defensive lineman from Virginia Beach, Virginia, who attended Frank W. Cox High School. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, he earned All-Beach District honors twice and was named his school's 2022 Defensive Player of the Year. As a senior, Johnson posted 50 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, five sacks, 10 passes defended and one forced fumble. He redshirted during his 2024 debut season after appearing in one game.
