Kamren Johnson is a defensive lineman from Virginia Beach, Virginia, who attended Green Run High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner and two-year team captain under head coach Brandon Williams. As a senior in 2025, Johnson recorded 62 tackles including 12 sacks and 22 tackles for loss while helping Green Run to a 12-1 record and Region 5A title game appearance. During his junior year, he posted 72 tackles, 10 sacks, and 30 tackles for loss with two forced fumbles. Johnson earned three-star ratings from recruiting services, and was ranked the nation's No. 127 overall edge rusher by recruiting services. He joins Virginia Tech as a true freshman in 2026.
