Kaleb Spencer is a 6'1", 229-pound linebacker for Virginia Tech who transferred from Miami. A consensus three-star prospect from Life Christian Academy in Gloucester, VA, Spencer appeared in six games during his 2023 debut season at Miami, largely on special teams. He played in all 13 games in 2024, recording 32 tackles (22 solo), five tackles for loss, a sack, an interception with a 77-yard return against Miami, a forced fumble, and two pass breakups. In 2025, Spencer became a team leader, appearing in all 12 games with five starts and posting 67 total tackles (31 solo), 9.0 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and a pass breakup.
