Brody Jones is a 6'3", 242-pound tight end from Bristol, Virginia, where he attended Virginia High School under coach Derrick Patterson. As a senior, Jones recorded 74 tackles including three sacks and two interceptions on defense, while also playing quarterback with 2,370 passing yards and 35 touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Region 2D honors and was named Region 2D Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year. At Virginia Tech, Jones saw no action in 2023. He appeared in nine games in 2024, recording one tackle and a quarterback hurry. In 2025, he played in 10 games primarily on special teams, making one tackle. Jones is a returning redshirt junior.
