Ja'Ricous Hairston is a 6'2", 251-pound tight end from Bassett, VA, who played quarterback and linebacker at Bassett High School before joining Virginia Tech. As a high school senior, he earned All-Piedmont District and All-Region IV honors along with Piedmont District Offensive Player of the Year. After limited action in 2023 and primarily special teams work in 2024, Hairston appeared in all 12 games during the 2025 season. He registered 12 receptions for 112 yards and three touchdowns, including a 33-yard reception against Georgia Tech on October 11.
