Benji Gosnell is a tight end for Virginia Tech, standing 6'4" and weighing 250 pounds. From Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, he was a four-star recruit in the 2022 class ranked No. 15 nationally at his position. Gosnell redshirted in 2022 and appeared in all 13 games the following year with eight starts, recording 12 receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown, including a 10-yard scoring catch against Tulane in the Military Bowl. In 2024, he started all 13 games and hauled in 32 receptions for 341 yards and two touchdowns at 10.7 yards per reception. During 2025, Gosnell started all 12 games, recording 12 receptions for 86 yards with a long of 18 yards. His brother Stephen played wide receiver at Tech.
