Cobey Sellers is a transfer cornerback from Texas A&M who joined Vanderbilt as a redshirt freshman. The Houston native was a four-star recruit according to recruiting services, and ranked No. 166 in the top-300 national recruit rankings. At Shadow Creek High School, he recorded multiple defensive plays as a senior including interceptions and pass breakups. He also competed in track and field, posting a 21.60-second time in the 200 meters, and played both ways as a junior, throwing for 956 yards and 17 touchdowns while contributing defensively.
