Martel Hight is a 6'0", 188-pound right cornerback for Vanderbilt from Rome, Georgia. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, Hight played in 11 games as a true freshman and recorded 38 tackles while becoming the first freshman in school history to return an interception for a touchdown. In 2024, he started all 13 games and earned All-SEC second team honors at return specialist, posting 33 tackles, two interceptions, and a 57-yard punt return touchdown. As a junior in 2025, Hight appeared in all 13 contests with 10 starts, accumulating 35 tackles, four interceptions, and two pass breakups while adding seven receiving catches for 64 yards and 11 punt returns for 76 yards.
