Jaylin Lackey is a 6'0", 195-pound cornerback for Vanderbilt from Monroe, Georgia. A three-star recruit ranked among the top-70 cornerbacks nationally, Lackey played both cornerback and wide receiver at South Gwinnett High School, where he recorded 30 tackles and two interceptions at cornerback while catching nine passes for 206 yards and four touchdowns at receiver. In his freshman year (2024), he appeared in all 13 games with five starts and finished with 14 tackles and two pass break-ups. During his sophomore season (2025), Lackey played in all 13 games and recorded 11 total tackles, including a season-high three against Texas.
