Owen Pewee is a redshirt senior JACK linebacker for the UTSA Roadrunners who hails from Cypress, TX. A three-star recruit from Cypress Park High School, Pewee appeared in four contests during the 2022 redshirt season. Over the next three years, he logged significant snaps and totals: 30 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss in 2023, followed by 42 tackles and 2 sacks in 2024 when he earned All-Academic honors. In 2025, Pewee played all 13 games with 10 starts, recording 31 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 7 quarterback hurries, and 1 pass breakup. He posted a season-high 6 tackles in the road win over Colorado State.
