Maguire Gasperson is a true freshman quarterback at UTSA from Argyle, Texas. At Argyle High School under head coach Todd Rogers, Gasperson compiled 7,744 passing yards and 101 touchdowns across his prep career. As a senior in 2025, he completed over 70% of passes for 3,380 yards with 35 touchdowns while rushing for 236 yards and nine scores, posting a 140.5 QB rating. He threw for 356 yards and six touchdowns in a regional semifinal victory over Abilene Cooper. Gasperson led the Eagles to a 12-2 record and the regional final in 2025 playoffs. A three-star recruit ranked 2281 nationally in the 2026 class, he was also an academic all-state honoree and competed in track and field as a sprinter.
