James Walley Jr. is a 6'2", 250-pound JACK from Missouri City, Texas, where he earned first-team all-district honors at Ridge Point High School. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Walley appeared in two games as a freshman in 2023 before recording limited action in seven contests during 2024, posting five total tackles and one sack. In 2025, he played in 12 games with one start, compiling 19 tackles, 12 solo stops, 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and two pass breakups. He recorded season highs of five tackles against Rice and logged 1.5 tackles for loss in the First Responder Bowl victory over FIU.
