Jamarri Vinson is a sophomore linebacker for UTSA at 6'2" and 210 pounds, wearing number 53. The Decatur, Alabama native transferred from East Mississippi Community College after his freshman season in 2025, when he accumulated 32 total tackles, 21 solo tackles, one sack, and a pass breakup while helping the Lions secure a share of the MACCC North Division Championship. He recorded 10 tackles in a 31-28 win over Northeast Mississippi CC and seven stops against Itawamba CC. At Austin High School, Vinson posted 42 total tackles, 29 unassisted, one sack, and an interception across the defensive line.
