Brandon Tucker is a linebacker for UTSA who transferred from East Texas A&M. At 5'11" and 225 pounds, the DeSoto, Texas native was a consensus All-America selection in 2024, earning first-team honors from the Associated Press and AFCA. That season he recorded 141 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks while winning Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year. In 2025, Tucker played in all 13 games with two starts, posting 35 total tackles, 25 solo stops, three tackles for loss, and four quarterback hurries. He earned a season-high eight tackles in the 48-20 win over UIW and recorded six tackles with a tackle for loss against East Carolina.
