Jacob Lopez-Veasey is a 6'5", 255-pound true freshman defensive lineman for the UTSA Roadrunners wearing jersey No. 48. A three-star prospect from San Antonio, Lopez-Veasey played at O'Connor High School, where he recorded 39 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and a safety as a junior and earned first-team all-district and all-state recognition. He also competed in basketball and track and field while maintaining National Honor Society membership. His father, Alfio Randall-Veasey, played offensive line at Texas and Blinn College before joining the Green Bay Packers, and his cousin Craig Veasey was a third-round NFL Draft pick by the Steelers.
