Drenon Fite III is a 6'4", 260-pound defensive end from Tatum, Texas, who redshirted at SMU in 2022 before playing three seasons at Louisiana. With the Ragin' Cajuns, he appeared in 39 games across three years, recording 14 tackles and a pass breakup in 12 contests in 2023, five tackles and a fumble recovery in all 14 games in 2024, and 10 tackles, one sack and a quarterback hurry in 13 games in 2025. He is a redshirt senior transfer to UTSA.
