Camron Cooper is a 6'3", 245-pound weakside linebacker from Dayton, Texas, who was a three-star recruit in the 2022 class. At Dayton High School, he earned first-team all-district honors at both defensive line and tight end as a senior, recording 73 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. Cooper redshirted in 2022 after appearing in four games and catching a 4-yard pass against Louisiana Tech. He appeared in all 13 contests in 2023, primarily on special teams, before posting 12 total tackles, five solo stops, two tackles for loss, and two sacks across 13 games in 2024, earning a start against Army. Cooper suffered a season-ending injury in the 2025 opener at Texas A&M after recording one tackle.
