Noah Mercer is a true freshman defensive tackle at UCF standing 6'5" and weighing 285 pounds. The Key West, Florida native attended Key West High School, where he earned a three-star recruiting rating with a .8567 the composite recruiting rankings and ranked as the No. 183 prospect in Florida. As a four-year starter, Mercer recorded 14 sacks during his 2025 senior season with 52 tackles and set a school record with 4.5 sacks in a single game against Lehigh on November 17, 2025. On offense, he blocked for two consecutive 1,000-yard rushers. Mercer also competed in track and field, finishing fourth in discus at the state level.
