Horace Lockett is a 6'6", 355-pound redshirt senior linebacker/defensive tackle from Atlanta, Georgia, who transferred to UCF from Georgia Tech. At Westlake High School, he was rated a four-star prospect by Rivals and ranked as the No. 24 defensive tackle nationally. Lockett appeared in 10 games during his 2023 redshirt freshman season at Georgia Tech, recording 25 total tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss, including a career-high six tackles against Wake Forest. He missed the 2024 season due to injury. In 2025, Lockett saw action in UCF's first four games before suffering a season-ending injury. He registered 11 total tackles, including seven solo, along with two tackles for loss and one sack—his first career sack. He added two pass breakups and one QB hurry while earning 2025 Big 12 All-Academic Team honors.
