Nelson Ramirez is a left guard from Newman, Georgia who attended East Coweta High School before playing junior college football at College of San Mateo. In 2024, Ramirez appeared in 12 games as San Mateo finished 12-1 and captured the CCCAA State Championship. The prior season, he was part of an 11-2 squad. Standing 6'6" and weighing 335 pounds, Ramirez joined UAB as a transfer in for the 2025 season, where he holds redshirt junior status.
