Calib Perez is a 6'5", 315-pound left guard from Pearland, TX, who lettered three years at Glenda Dawson High School under coaches Eric Wells and Mike Allison. A consensus three-star prospect, he was ranked by recruiting services as the No. 78 offensive tackle nationally and earned First Team All-District honors while helping Glenda Dawson to a 22-11 record with three postseason appearances. Perez played at Duke, appearing in seven games in 2022 (Temple, North Carolina A&T, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, UCF) for 40 snaps and four games in 2021 (North Carolina A&T, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech) for 41 snaps. He missed time due to injury in 2023. Perez now plays for UAB as a transfer.
