Jermaine McCree is a true freshman cornerback for the Troy Trojans from Mobile, Alabama. At Williamson High School, McCree earned two all-state honors and finished his prep career with 16 interceptions and 50 pass breakups. During his senior season, he recorded 33 tackles, nine pass breakups and five interceptions for 75 return yards while helping lead the Lions to a 12-1 record and a berth in the Alabama 5A semifinals. McCree also contributed on special teams, scoring three touchdowns including an 87-yard punt return. A consensus three-star recruit, he stands 5'11" and weighs 166 pounds.
