Dane Nauman is a running back for the Toledo Rockets who hails from Marengo, Ohio, where he attended Highland High School. At the prep level, he earned first-team all-state honors as a senior and was named Division V Offensive Player of the Year as a junior after rushing for 1,644 yards and 19 touchdowns his senior year. He holds school records for single-season rushing yards (2,830) and single-game rushing yards (366), both set during his junior campaign when he scored 28 touchdowns. In 2024, his first year with Toledo, Nauman played in two games and rushed for 15 yards.
