Autavius Ison is a running back from Atlanta, GA who attended Riverdale High School before playing at Charleston Southern and Mercer. At Riverdale, he earned All-state honors as a junior and senior, registering 1,552 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior and 1,218 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior. He was named regional offensive player of the year as a senior. In 2023, his freshman year at Charleston Southern, Ison rushed for 189 yards. During the 2024 season, he accumulated 795 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 171 carries while catching nine passes for 67 yards, earning All-Big South recognition. He had a career-high 33 carries for 157 yards against Tennessee State and rushed for 229 yards against Western Illinois. Ison transferred to Toledo for the 2026 season.
