Colin Simmons, a 6'3" 245-pound JACK from Duncanville, Texas, is a third-year player for the Texas Longhorns. A five-star recruit ranked 18th nationally in the 2024 class, Simmons won the 2024 Shawn Alexander National Freshman of the Year award after appearing in all 16 games as a true freshman, posting 9.0 sacks and 14.0 tackles for loss. In 2025, he started all 13 games and led the SEC with 12.0 sacks while recording 43 total tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, and 15 quarterback hurries. Named a 2025 Second-Team All-American by multiple organizations and a Coaches' All-SEC First Team selection, Simmons earned four Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week honors and was tabbed a 2026 Phil Steele preseason First-Team All-American.
